A late night chat with the lovely Sayyida Laila al-Sanna’ al-Andalusiyya about forming a courtesan household and the importance of courtesans having other courtesans to support them.
We talk about the House of the Lotus, SCA households in general, why they exist, and why we join them. Also check in on projects, upcoming performances, and the very first of 2019’s Pennsic fun in the works.
Brief notes as I am still not unpacked from war and some odd shifts in my personal life. I won’t say no to happy thoughts, if you’re so inclined.
The colors I finished on my palette were gorgeous at war! Moving into Roman looks is awesome! I gotta admit I have missed playing with eyeliner and eye color. I did six eye shadows but I haven’t finished naming them yet.
To follow the projects going on in the House of the Lotus, be sure to bookmark their site! Sayyida Laila’s mundane works are featured on her website under the name Krishna Alexander.
