Introducing the Knowne World Courtesans

historical reenactment SCA Pennsic

In our debut salon we discuss with Mistress Magdalena la Sanguini on a variety of topics. We enjoy an afternoon glass of wine while we chat about what it means to be portraying a sex worker in our modern middle ages, why we chose this persona, and how it has chosen us. We discuss what war means in the SCA, and how the war experience is just a little bit different when you’re a courtesan.

What is all this talk of war? What is whorephobia? How do I learn more about the awesomeness that is the Knowne World Courtesans? Where are your upcoming events happening throughout the known world?

All these questions, and ones you didn’t know how to ask, are answered in this amusing digital salon hosted by the Knowne World Courtesans.
